INSTRUCTOR

Jerry Deavers

I'm a  USPPA certified PPG Instructor and a member of “Bad Apples” Brotherhood.  I have been teaching PPG since 2020 and have helped many students achieve their dreams of flight! I myself have been flying for over 7 years and have turned this passion into helping others achieve their overdue childhood dream of flying like superman.

Nothing is more pleasing than when a student takes their first flight and when they land, describing their experience. Some cry, some are glad to be on the ground. Some can't wait to do it again right away. Out of all those feelings and excitement, I have never seen one not going on a 2nd flight and beyond.

My professional background starts in corporate America, where I've been in I.T. for major companies such as  IBM and Cisco Systems, to leadership roles of Director of Operations and currently a Director of Human Resources.

Outside of flying, I enjoy Church, Bodybuilding, hunting and fishing and adventure flying in other states and countries. I help host the largest Paramotor flying event in the world, "Bad Apples Fly-In”, hosted at Hodges field in Andersonville GA. This is also my home training field.

Patriot Paramotor was formed to help 1st responders, vets, and other great patriots of our country achieve their dreams of aviation.

Safety and taking care of my future brothers and sisters in this great passion, sport, way of life is my focus! Please don't hesitate to reach out!
